This amazing structure is the Boulder House, one of towers still standing in the Hovenweep Holly Group. Looking at it, molded so perfectly to the top of the massive rock, it is easy to fantasize that it simply grew out of the sandstone. In reality it was built by human hands just about 800 years ago. That it still stands is silent testament to the fantastic abilities of those prehistoric masons.
