Hells Canyon National Recreation Area
	From here the Snake River is soon joined by the Salmon below “Hell’s Gate” at Lewiston. It then flows up into Washington where it joins the Columbia and heads towards the Pacific. I saw a few jet boats loaded with folks headed upriver on tours out of Lewiston.
