Emerald Lake Here is another view of The President to the west. The east side of the lake is also ringed by very impressive peaks including Mt. Burgess, Mt. Field and Wapta Mountain, but poor lighting conditions (direct sunlight) did not allow me to take any good photos. The three and a half mile walk around the lake was generally void of tourists and an extremely pleasurable experience. [ Site Index ]
