Garden of the Gods
	Dogs are allowed in the park, so Penny got to enjoy the hike with me around the towering sandstone formations. This one is called the Three Graces. History records the site was named by a pair of young men in 1859. The first said, “This will make a capital place for a beer garden, when the country grows up.” The second replied, “Why, it is a fit place for the gods to assemble, and I will call it the Garden of the Gods.”
