Take a picnic lunch and your cameras, and take your time on that road. If there is any threat of rain, don’t attempt it. The road would be a real challenge, and a serious mess, if it were wet.

Grosvenor Arch is a spectacular double arch south of the park. The road is 10 miles of
unimproved dirt; washboard, steep rocky hills and deep sandy washes, but the reward
is fantastic indeed. Take a picnic lunch and your cameras, and take your time on that road. If there is any threat of rain, don’t attempt it. The road would be a real challenge, and a serious mess, if it were wet. |
