Colorado National Monument
	From Fruita and the Colorado River below at the west entrance, the road winds up switchbacks and thru tunnels for four miles to the top of Monument Mesa. This is the obligatory Balanced Rock. Having one may actually be a prerequisite to being a national monument, but I can’t really say for certain.
