Bryce Canyon National Park
Bryce Canyon National Park Bryce isn’t really a canyon, but fourteen seperate amphitheatres of eroded limestone, filled with ponderosa and pinyon pine, juniper, spruce, fir and ancient bristlecone pine trees.

Ebenezer Bryce, a Mormon settler for whom the area is named, lived near here for only five years. He harvested the trees for lumber, and is reported to have said that it was “a hell of a place to lose a cow”.
