Colorado National Monument
	This is the 450 foot tall Independence Monument, which is the tallest free standing formation in the park. The photo was taken from the Grand View overlook, in the pre-dawn hours on my way out. Heavy fog can be seen hanging over Fruita and the Grand Valley of the Colorado River some 2,000 feet below.
