Fajada Butte
Fajada Butte The impressive Fajada Butte stands tall at the point where three washes (a typically dry channel subject to flash floods during rainstorms) meet. It must have been a significant landmark for the Chacoan people, and evidence of a ceremonial site that served as a calendar to mark the solstices and equinoxes has also been discovered near the top.
