Aztec Ruins National Monument
	Due to their impressive size and construction, when the ruins were first discovered they were mistakenly identified as having been originally inhabited by the people of the Aztec Empire in Mexico. Archeologists have since confirmed that they were actually the home of ancestors of the Pueblo peoples of the American Southwest.
